ARTICLE 1: LEGAL INFORMATION

The LE SOU FRANÇAIS site (The SITE) is published by SAS LE SOU FRANCAIS, located 886 Avenue des Rémouleurs - 40150 Hossegor, under SIRET 91044410800013 and RCS Dax B 910 444 108

The SITE is hosted by OVH SAS, a subsidiary of the company OVH Groupe SA, a company registered with the RCS of Lille under number 537 407 926 located at 2, rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix

Kilian CROGUENNEC is the SITE webmaster and responsible for the publication.

ARTICLE 3 – COMPUTING AND FREEDOMS

In France, personal data is notably protected by law n° 78-87 of January 6, 1978, law n° 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of October 24, 1995. When using the SITE, the following may be collected:

  • the URL of the links through which the user accessed the SITE,
  • the user's access provider,
  • the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address.

In any case, the COMPANY only collects personal information relating to the user for the purposes of certain services offered by the SITE. The user provides this information in full knowledge of the facts, particularly when he enters it himself. The user of the SITE is then informed whether or not they are obliged to provide this information.

In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 and following of law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, any user has a right of access, rectification and opposition to personal data concerning him, by making his written and signed request, accompanied by a copy of the identity document with signature of the holder of the document, specifying the address to which the response must be sent.

To exercise your rights, we kindly ask you to send your request by post, accompanied by a copy of a signed identity document, to the address of the COMPANY presented above.

No personal information of the user of the SITE is published without the user's knowledge, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold on any medium to third parties.

Only the hypothesis of the redemption of the COMPANY and its rights would allow the transmission of said information to the possible purchaser who would in turn be bound by the same obligation of conservation and modification of data with respect to the user of the SITE . The databases are protected by the provisions of the law of July 1, 1998 transposing directive 96/9 of March 11, 1996 relating to the legal protection of databases.

ARTICLE 4 – COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Since May 25, 2018, the GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation, applies to all processing of personal data of individuals from the European Union. The SITE collects and uses personal data. The paragraphs below detail the type of data collected, the means used to collect it, and the way in which this data is processed.

Cookies

Browsing the site https://lesoufrancais.fr may cause the installation of cookie(s) on the user's computer. A cookie is a small file, which does not allow the identification of the user, but which records information relating to the navigation of a computer on a site. The data thus obtained aims to facilitate subsequent navigation on the site (automatically filling in forms with your first and last names for example), and is also intended to enable various traffic measurements.

Audience measurement and analysis

The SITE uses Google Analytics to analyze the audience and user behavior. To do this, Google Analytics uses a cookie in order to collect the following visitor behavior data: time of visit, pages visited, time spent on the site, origin from the Internet, frequency of visit to the site (new visitor or visitor having already surfed the site) as well as their geographical origin. The following data is also collected concerning the terminal used to browse the site: the language, the type (PC, laptop, tablet, mobile phone) and the brand of the terminal, the type and version of the operating system of the terminal, type and version of the Internet browser. This data is anonymized and the COMPANY does not target individuals for marketing purposes.

Data collected

The personal information collected by the SITE is collected through forms and through the interactivity established between you and the SITE. The SITE also uses, as indicated in the previous paragraph, cookies to collect information about you (cookies). By using the various forms (comment, contact, newsletter subscription) of the SITE, the following information can be collected:

  • Name
  • First name
  • Address
  • email address
  • Website
  • IP adress

ARTICLE 5 – INFORMATION CONCERNING YOUR INTERNET BROWSER

When you leave a comment on one of the articles on the SITE, or use the SITE contact form, the data provided in the form (last name, first name, email, website), but also your IP address and information concerning your browser are collected in order to combat unwanted comments. Your email address, as well as the content of the message, remains strictly confidential and is not communicated to third parties. The information is thus collected for the following purposes: to give you information about articles, news and offline activities concerning the authors and the SITE.

The SITE contains a certain number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with the authorization of the COMPANY. However, the COMPANY is not able to verify the content of the sites visited, and will therefore assume no responsibility for this.

ARTICLE 6 – SECURITY

The personal information collected is kept in a secure environment. People working with us are required to respect the confidentiality of your information. For more information, you can consult the data protection policy of our technical partners. However, as no mechanism offers maximum security, the SITE undertakes to notify its contacts in the event of hacking of its data, within 72 hours following the attack.

COMPANY is the sole owner of the information collected on the SITE and does not sell, trade or transfer any personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating this site, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Hyperlinks

The SITE undertakes to offer you a right of opposition and withdrawal regarding your personal information. The right to object is understood as the possibility offered to Internet users to refuse that their personal information be used for certain purposes mentioned during collection. The right of withdrawal is understood as being the possibility offered to Internet users to request that their personal information no longer appear, for example, in a mailing list.

The COMPANY undertakes to recognize a right of access and rectification to data subjects wishing to consult, modify or even delete information concerning them.
